What is a font generator?
A font generator converts the plain letters you type into look-alike Unicode characters — real text symbols such as 𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮, 𝔤𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠 and Ⓑⓤⓑⓑⓛⓔ that live in blocks like Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols and Enclosed Alphanumerics. Because the output is genuine text rather than an image, a webfont or a CSS trick, it survives copy and paste anywhere text is accepted: Instagram bios, TikTok captions, Discord usernames, WhatsApp messages, X posts, documents and file names.
Every preview on this page shows the exact characters the copy button puts on your clipboard. Nothing is faked with a webfont, so what you see is what you paste — no style quietly turning back into plain text after you copy it.

𝕹𝖔𝖜 𝕷𝖎𝖛𝖊Why these fonts copy and paste everywhere
Unicode is the text standard every modern device and app agrees on. It defines far more than the Latin alphabet: it includes stylised variants of A–Z that were added for mathematics, linguistics and technical typesetting. Mathematical bold gave us 𝐀, mathematical script gave us 𝒜, Fraktur gave us 𝔄 — all of them ordinary text characters with their own code points.
A font generator maps each letter you type onto one of those characters. You are not installing a font, uploading an image or applying formatting that only works inside one app. You are selecting different letters, which is why the result travels intact through a bio field, a username, a chat message or a URL.
The practical limit is font coverage rather than support. A device can only draw a character if one of its installed fonts contains it. The widely supported blocks near the top of each page render identically on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac; a few decorative styles borrow from rarer scripts and can appear as empty boxes on older phones. Where that is a risk, we say so on the page rather than pretending otherwise.
Frequently asked questions
How do I copy and paste fonts?
Type your text in the font generator box, browse the styles until you find one you like, then tap the preview or the copy icon. The styled text goes straight to your clipboard — paste it into an Instagram bio, TikTok caption, Discord name, WhatsApp message or anywhere else that accepts text.
Is this font generator free?
Yes. iFontGen is completely free with no sign-up, no watermark, no character limit and nothing to download. Generate and copy as many fancy fonts as you like.
Do these fonts work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The output is standard Unicode, built into both operating systems, so a style copied on Android pastes correctly for someone reading on an iPhone. A small number of decorative styles resolve through each platform's emoji font and can look slightly different between the two.
How do I change the font on Instagram, TikTok or Discord?
None of those apps include a font setting. Copy the style you want from this page and paste it into your bio, caption, username or message. Instagram bios accept nearly every style, while Instagram handles are limited to plain characters.
What font styles can I generate?
Over 775 copy and paste styles including bold, italic, cursive script, gothic and old English blackletter, bubble letters, small caps, superscript and subscript, aesthetic fullwidth, glitch and zalgo, upside-down text, and dozens of decorated variants.
Are fancy fonts safe for usernames and bios?
Yes for display names and bios on most platforms, since the output is ordinary Unicode text. Some apps restrict usernames to basic characters — if a paste is rejected, use the styled text in your display name instead.
Can screen readers read fancy text?
Not well. Most screen readers announce these characters one by one or skip them entirely, so keep stylish fonts for decorative use and leave important information in plain text.
Why is it called a font generator if it uses Unicode?
Habit — no font file is involved. Each style maps your letters to different Unicode characters that look like another typeface, which is exactly why the result can be copied and pasted anywhere.
